Also, his Papal name of Francis is huge because if he took the name to personify either of the saints or just Francis of Assisi then this is an open and shut case. Assisi was Italian ethnically and nationally and prior to changing his name his birth name was Francesco Di Pietro (Peter) Di Bernardone. That translates almost literally to Peter the Roman."
