Controlled demolition combined with thermite brought down the WTC Towers and building #7 whether you want to believe it or not. Explain to me how planes hitting the Towers 100+ storeys up caused people to come out of underground parking levels with skin burnt and hanging off of them, if controlled demolition was not used to take out the foundation/base in order for the buildings to fall into their footprint? Steven P. Nuxoll You obviously have not read the article. It talks quite a bit about thermite and presents its findings in an unobtrusive and thought provoking way. I like the Idea that an article can eloquently challenge my predispositions on a variety of aspects on the topic of 9/11 but if you do not like having your thoughts and beliefs challenged, that's fine but you don't have to come off all angry and stuff. Besides, I never claimed anything about this as my OWN I'm simply sharing it because, if you take the time to read it, it brings up a lot of interesting things to consider. I'm not saying thermite wasn't used as it is obvious that liquid metal was literally cascading down shortly before the building collapse. But suspend your knee-jerk reaction long enough to read slightly differing points of view on any topic it will either strengthen and enlighten a closely held belief or knock it around a bit to see if it holds up. I personally do not believe anything unless it can stand up to any and all criticisms without fail. The truth will always hold up to criticism. Weather I believe that thermite had to have been used does not account for the extremely large volume of "Dustification" that took place as mentioned in the above video that Cherie Cormier shared which is why I posted this article as to help to explain a possibility of why all the dustification. If you are familiar with demolition at all you would realize that a lot of internal and external columns had to be reduced to literally nothing fast enough to let the top of the building fall at near freefall speed into its own foot print. Thermite had to have played a part in the weakening of much of the steel colums but the physics involved with how fast all internal and external support colums and the lack of actual steel structural debris would not be explained entirely away by just thermite alone.

The tallest building to have been destroyed by implosion BEFORE 9/11 was ONLY 47 stories tall and made of concrete and re-bar pillars which is a lot easier to vaporize into dust with explosives than thick walled steel columns that run on both the exterior of a building every meter and are many times thicker than tank armor that could easily deflect artillery shells and aluminum planes, not to mention hold up to burning airplane fuel. NOT ONCE has an ALL STEEL construction modern sky-scraper been imploded by conventional explosives. EVERYTHING up to now has been concrete and re-bar construction so how WOULD one implode a building built by today's all steel construction standards.

Spiros Kalostipis There is plenty of evidence in the debris/dust that thermite was used by the little spheres found in it, and yes, the military industrial complex was in on it if thermite was used. I agree that thermite is not available to the public, and only is stocked by military. That would make it a gov't conspiracy with others involved, and many believe another nation was involved also. I actually worked for a drilling and blasting company and did A LOT of rock drilling and blasting. The sheer volume of the Twin Towers IS HUGE! They were the tallest buildings for a long dam time before they were out done by only a few hundred feet. Just look at the amount of vaporized building that billowed out and think about how comparatively little concrete was used in it's construction compared to other buildings built prior to it. I NEVER SAID it was not a controlled demolition, in fact I DID NOT SAY ANYTHING I just pulled an excerpt from the article that points out that no publicly known means of demolition were or could have been used on an all steel skyscraper because no ALL-steel skyscrapers have been imploded into their own footprint since the dawn of all steel scrapers. Just look at the pictures and see how the building vaporizes into very little debris. What then could have done this? Read the article!

Spiros Kalostipis I have read the article. My bad then, if you were not saying that controlled demolition was not used. I will not guess at what technology the gov't has at their disposal to cause the concrete to turn to dust and to bend thick steel girders. I know it was not just fires and planes. Thermite is in the debris so I would venture to say that it was used, and by looking at some of the steel columns that were sliced clean in 45 degree angles.

I still have doubts because it looks as if the steel structure is visible before disappearing into the ruble at the bottom. Are there pics of where it stood and the aftermath of its collapse? Nuxoll I don't know for sure but I've seen a lot of demolition and what amazes me is how when a conventional demolition happens the building collapses into itself and THEN the dust from all the concrete dust from preparing the building with explosives and gutting it blows out from the debris collapsing in on itself and forcing all the air and dust to billow out. With the twin towers it started IMMEDIATELY billowing out HUGE clouds of dust on the way down.
