Charlie Legendd I was only 3 at the time. Hadn't heard of them till now. From what I can gather they were massive in the late 80s / early 90s, until their audio skipped at a live concert. They make out in their interviews that they knew they were part of a deception but did not know the extent of the deception... and that they were duped and used as 'puppets'. I can't help but think they would have carried on with the deception so long as it benefited them, and they did know the extent of the deception, and had been to cloning and met you?

I guess their audio could not get pass "Girl you know it's...; girl you know it's...; girl you know it's..." --and play the next word in the song because they were false! ha

I think the video illustrates just the tip of the deception. I couldn't help thinking as I was watching the video in this thread that current musicians are in for a similar fate; i.e. knowing about the full extent of the deception; keeping quiet about a certain musical genius, who they coerced to sing original songs for them; claiming the songs as their own creativity to benefit their own pockets etc. People are going to get very angry! There will be a witch-hunt, as it was illustrated in the video. The embarrassment and public humiliation must be too much to deal with.

I watched other interviews in regards to Milli Vanilli and they said after their performances, when they were back in their hotel alone --that is when it hits them (about the deception they commit). I assume many musicians currently feel like this, when they are alone and have time to mull over their life and 'accomplishments'. It's difficult, and the best we (as the public) can do is try and understand all Don has laid out (cloning, vrils etc.) and let go of the illusions. I can't speak for everyone, but for most big-time musicians they chose such a life given the options available to them at the time (some were born in it, have connections etc.); but more or less most have got more than they could ever have imagined ---and it is all one big lie. It's all one big lie, that they cannot voice, because of groundhog day, remote aneurysm and other craziness.

It makes complete sense why these 'artists' are depressed. It's just best to let go of the illusions; and for those who deserve it/want to redeem themselves let them live whatever little life will have after this --because the public embarrassment and humiliation alone will be more than most can handle. Otherwise I suspect many artists are going to go the same way as Rob Pilatus once the populace know all about Don.
