I can't remember which book it was, but read that the cat people, bird people, etc...all are real. I believe that the Cat people are from Sirius, which is written about alot.
I've also read, and do wonder after seeing some of the footage NASA has "accidentally" released on the stereo cameras, that there are space wars going on right above us, for control of this planet.
