Oscar winner Juliette Binoche premiered a jaw-dropping incest-and-cannibalism farce Friday at Cannes, taking an "eat the rich" theme at this year's festival to new extremes.
The period comedy "Slack Bay" (Ma Loute) by Bruno Dumont is set on the Channel coast of northern France at the start of the 20th century, in a fishing village in which the have-not locals eye the invasion of wealthy holidaymakers each summer with mounting resentment.

hi! new member, 1st post. Many thanks to Donald for providing this info, it's really pieced together tons of 'info' I've been 'researching' for most of my adult years (and plenty of info I didn't even realize was pertinent)! Been voraciously reading thru some of the bigger threads on this board in the past few days since I found the forum(Which I stumbled upon searching for clues to if a very famous/popular [deceased] comedian was some sort of pawn), gotta remind myself to eat and sleep LOL. Saw the post (from 2013) about the images in the K-os song "Crabbuckit" and couldn't help but think that General Ackbar("It's a trap") from Star Wars looks like a 'cleaned up' version. There's also a race in the Star Wars galaxy called the "Gran" with 3 eyes on stalks that sorta looks similar. I wonder if Yoda(origins unknown) is a bit of a symbol too.. There's also another race, thats 'force sensitive' called the Ithorians with eyes on stalks, all of these races are portrayed as peaceful...perhaps its a bit of a reach... Side-note; I was wondering if there's a thread about hints of cloning/vrill in video games(sorry if i missed it and am posting this in the wrong thread), because I can think of quite a few. For instance in a computer game released in 1999 "Everquest" it's rampant, There's a faceless 'God of Fear" named Cazic-Thule who dwells in "The plane of fear" There's a zone in the game called "The temple of Cazic-Thule" and wouldn't ya know, it's filled with these lizards standing on 2 feet that are knee tall.. much of the zone has the appearance of being in an underground cave(made of simple dirt) and it's designed as a maze so it's a major pain to navigate thru and was often avoided..
