Given your headstrong determination and resilience it has appeared to short sighted persons, that you are speaking ahead of time and therefore their reaction in the moment is to laugh but you have shown every last one of those individuals that you walk the the talk. Freedom Parade ....Before reading the accounts of Donald Marshall, I thought that song lyrics were symbolic, expressing moods, images, etc. Now I realize that many lyrics are literal...meant to express exactly what they say...nightmares are actual nightmares...monsters are literally monsters, etc.

I thought the same and thought some of them were mondegreens (is a mishearing or misinterpretation of a phrase as a result of near-homophony, in a way that gives it a new meaning.), although some were really clear, and one which stood out for me clearly and I remember clearly today is: "If Magic Johnson got a cure for A.I.D.S." -(from the song "Roses" performed by Kanye West) -I actually thought what a weird thing to say in a song. Checked it out and he was cured of A.I.D.S -but then I was like why aren't doctor's scrutinising him if he has "the cure" - I digress....

This is from “ The Invasion” (2007) with Nicole Kidman. The film is about Parasite Hosts. With this type of Alien Invasion humans are infected through an alien virus which affects a human’s blood stream. The virus takes over the human’s body; the human is then ill for an unknown amount of time; develops skin abnormalities all over human’s skin –and after about a day becomes a parasite host (drone). The film even references REM sleep. Once a human is infected with the virus, they must avoid hitting REM sleep because that is when the virus begins to take over their body, and that is when they start turning into a parasite host (drone). I’ve highlighted this scene to cross reference previous posts about (likely) Parasite Hosts in police uniform who have killed pets / wanted to kill pets when making an enquiry. I thought this part of the film was hinting at the possibility that animals can smell them and it was very interesting that they included it in what most likely reads as a documentary.
