Laurence Mountford its the cloning rem concept in the guise of giant robots, the monsters are clones used like the robots by the aliens. they come from a "portal to another dimension" beneath the pacific rim. basicially a fancy way of saying underground. they mention them coming at the time of the dinosaurs. its bull. the action was not even that entertaining
