John K Thompson Laurence and David, you guys both are awesome, and I have learned from you; perhaps I can return the favor, perhaps not. I only suggest, that one must be both a warrior/protector and a gentle soul. If the vril are just animals, use your abilities (higher intellect, etc) to transcend their understandings, thus their abilities to control. If they are just bent on destruction/eating/droning, what have you, then understand that, and work around it. We can expose them, yes, but we must not allow ourselves to act in similar ways.

We get up our own arse after a while drunk on spirituality thinking ohh its all fine turn the other cheek, understand, forget. whatever. in a perfect world thats all well and good. but we dont live in "the perfect world" nor is one perfect in the idea of being entirely altruistic. we have light, and dark sides. but are defined by how we utilize each. i fucking hate vrill. Baaaaaaasically I came to this conclusion. if you have personal responsibility. then so does everyone else. its not all on you decide other's fates. they decide their own. so I dont have qualms about killing, at all. They didn't and in fact they expect us to treat them fairly because of the whole Batman-esque "you dont break your rule" thing, because we are good. but thats not good, in my opinion.
Laurence Mountford the idea you people stick to is that we can't do things like they did otherwise that makes us as bad as them. which i think is an idea that really came from evil people to say to good people to ensure that if evil people were caught by good people good people wouldnt kill or hurt them in the way evil people would. its like a trick they use. "oh your good so you dont do bad stuff like me".
John K Thompson I really do appreciate your input and insight my friend; we are more alike then you may like to give credit towards. I find your last statement to be very...rational. Clearly, if one were "good" than they cannot be thus, and that it is possible to consider that this very notion originates from "evil" - that is what I gathered. An interesting perspective. Batman/some symbol of monumental heroism - this "perfect world" ism...this too must be considered as possible. If "good" has "rules", simply redefine the rules. We make them. Why not? By that I mean, "perfect world" is within our possible manifestations.

Laurence Mountford Thing is I get what John says. Utterly. I can see their perspective as much as mine because its actually quite easy. When you know that its like an equation, or a vast group of them I suppose. But you look at what drives you, how you see things, then just imagine vril and replace that with the nasty stuff they do. Everything has a perspective. Everything has a "way". Its as simple as that. You don't need to want to eat children to know how it feels to want to do something regardless of what it is. Thats what they do. John thinks that all we need to do is understand them. Quarantine them presumably, then with love and care forget the damage they inflicted on us and move on allowing them to live somehow, maybe even be friends in future. He's saying understand their perspective but i understand that his perspective of looking at and understanding their perspective is exactly that - just a perspective. One that the rest of the world will not embrace, at least not right now. Because we still got learning to do. Pain, Loss, Fear they define us a much as Love and Friendship and Gain. We can only be as Good as we have been Evil, I say. For to understand one is to know the other. If vrill did not exist, like at all. as hard as it is to admit. none of us would exist in our current forms. I wouldn't ever give up being me. And in a way. The vrill are responsible for all of us, Including how good we are. Perhaps we're not as alike as I'd like to think. There are people's minds and actions that are influenced by our words on here; those who speak out, influence others, period. For the time being, I suggest, it's probably relevant to use words like good and evil - we can save the moral discourse for later, between ourselves if you wish; there is much we undoubtedly could say; yet, what's important, and of priority, is exposing and leading.
