Not a fan of most modern music.. overproduced and when it sounds negative not into it.. very sensitive... but, i followed the influence of the day long ago as most teens who get talked into it, still always preferred the sweeter music.. more unplugged and nicer meanings.. no fear based or doesn't make sense to you kind of stuff.. so all the music mentioned so far was not my type. Except Lionel's song that Kenny Roger's did that I now know was Donny's called "Lady". That was beautiful. I appreciate the clever little boy who found a way to avoid torture by singing songs. He was precious and still is! I am a fan of what he is doing to help us all!It was sooo smart to put clues into the lyrics of many songs you wrote. Now I know why they didn't make sense to me if I read the lyrics but, now they do. I write the similar way with the words and melody first and add the music later; most writers do it the other way around though. It is sad how your gift was something you had to do to survive and while in pain so it holds a different feeling for you while mine is what I used to survive life and felt good to get out of me like therapy and the only pain I was in was just the pain of real life feelings. Maybe this is part of why I am so touched by your story.
